After a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics at Grenoble Alpes University, Elodie specialized in Phonetics and Phonology during her masters’degree at the Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3 University in order to learn more about speech production and perception (spectrograms interpretation, acoustic features in speech signal processing). In the Comm4CHILD project, she conducts her research at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Her project aims at investigating how the quality of orthographic representations in children with hearing impairment are related to multiple factors (spelling skills, vocabulary, reading ability, short-term verbal memory).
Elodie Sabatier works on the research project 13. Spelling ability and associated skills, supervised by Fabienne Chetail and Jacqueline Leybaert.
