Prof. Andrej Kral is Full Professor of Auditory Neuroscience at Hannover Medical School (Medizinische Hochschule Hannover, MHH) and Professor of Systems Neuroscience at Macquarie University. He is member of the German National Academy of Science. His expertise is neurophysiology and electrophysiology of the auditory system, deafness and cochlear implants. He is chair of the PhD programme “Auditory sciences” at MHH.

Andrej Kral is a supervisor of the research projects 3. Neural mechanisms of cross-modal plasticity in Hearing Impairment (animal model) and 4. Audio-tactile brain plasticity in children using cochlear implants.
